Addington Station Antiques was opened in July 2005. It was a dream come true for these eclectic collectors. After three months in the shop, Mr. Pat decided we needed more room for our wares. He put the hammer to work and created another space where the old drive through of the gas station had been. Decorated walls with hand stamped "trump'ole bricks" making the additional room look as old as the inside of the original with "real" bricks behind plastered walls. Flooring was kept original, just adding a "jadeite" wash of paint for character and warmth that has inspired customers to come back time again for that cup of coffee and a step back in days gone by.
2011 brings an addition of more space for the shop to expand, which will "double" the size!
Combining talents with Sherrie and Mark, we are connecting the Auction Barn with the Antique Shop by way of the "CHISHOLM TUNNEL", named after the Chisholm Trail which runs down US 81 Highway near the shop. Inside the tunnell will house vintage and antique lamps, small furniutre pieces, pictures, etc., making it a great place to take a step back in time. The new addition will be overflowing with Tiger Oak furniture, Eastlake pieces, lamps of all kinds including lovely stained glass lamps, Majolica, Roseville, Hull, Fenton Cranberry Hobnail Opalescent, Carnival glass, Fire King, McKee & Jeanette Jadeite along with Morenci Candles adding their fragrance to the shops atmosphere along with more primitives, furniture and all the things that collectors are hunting. Of course Laura will be adding more of her Victorian treasures for your shopping pleasure.
From Anvils brought over from England and making their home on a ranch near Montague Co., Tx. and now at home in the shop, antique wagons, to vintage gas pumps, gas signs, primitive musical instruments, a worn out cowboy hat, Elk Antlers, spurs, Indian Pottery and Paintings, wagon wheel yard swings, horse drawn plows, planters, wagon wheels, wooden and metal too, well, you name it we have it and if we don't we'll do our best to find it! We strive to have the best selection of antiques in southern Oklahoma/northern Texas.
We will buy 1 piece or your whole estate. Do an auction or hold the estate sale at your home. Whatever the need, we will provide the best for our customers.
